Laganas

Located in southern Zante or Zakynthos, which is in the west of Greece mainland, Laganas is a resort town famous among youngsters and family alike. Home to the largest beach in Zante, Laganas is a popular nightlife hub.

Apart from being the hottest spot for clubbing in summers, Laganas beach is known to play as a habitat or breeding ground for the endangered Caretta Caretta turtles, making it a part of National Maritime Park. Water activities on this beach are prohibited as a measure to protect loggerhead turtles. But one can try their hands on scuba diving to observe turtles in their natural habitat. Activities like mini-golf, bowling, go karting and horse riding are other activities available in Laganas.
